Food Shelves & Share the Bounty
Several area food shelves accept and distribute fresh extra produce. The Polk County WIC and UW-Extension offices coordinate a program called Share the Bounty that encourages gardeners to share their extra produce with families in need. Share the Bounty seed packets are available for free at local Polk County libraries. To learn more about Share the Bounty, contact Andrea at the Polk County WIC office at (715) 483-8523.
